Saguaro In Bloom

They are popping open all over the place. I've been watching the buds on these mammoth cacti around town for a week. Today was the day of my first flower sightings.

It was a tough decision whether to blip today or wait for more flowers. As you can see, there are more buds on this cactus. But I made the mistake this year of putting off blipping Joshua Trees in bloom and then it was too late.

I didn't want to make the same mistake twice. Maybe there will be more to come. Most are blooming right at the top. I might seek out something more unusual. I can't get enough of these!
