Monday 7 May 2012: The Infamous Boathouse

One of the most photographed building's in the Lake District and probably one of most photographed boathouse's in the world. I waited around till 9 to get the right atmosphere for this shot. As soon as I arrived at Ullswater it started pouring down and the reflections faded out and faded back in again as the rain changed. Taking photos in the rain with low light can cause all kind of problems, working around them can be quite difficult, especially when you're holding an umbrella to shelter your camera.
