City centre, Christchurch

Looked up from my walk today and saw the city centre, with the cranes poised for deconstruction. Best in large.

I'ts going to look a lot lower when these high-rises are gone.

The last five storeys of the Hotel Grand Chancellor (formerly 28 storeys ) were demolished yesterday.

The city centre is about 11km away, so my camera is working hard for this blip!
