Tuesday 8 May 2012: Rain or Shine?

This is all-too-obvious blip material, but the stormy clouds lurking behind it appealed to me. I was going to blip a golden field the other day, but I've waited until Anna wasn't with me, as it makes her very snuffly. She moans about the 'stinky flowers' - and yes, they are. I waded waist deep into this field, and now my clothes and hands covered in it!

Just a normal day today, but Paul's gone off to work with very tired eyes. Stupid Barney-dog started barking at 2am, going absolutely mad, and while I went straight back to sleep, Paul was awake for hours. We think Anna inadvertently triggered the yapping - she talks and shouts in her sleep, something Matthew also did when he was little. It's usually nonsense chatter (dinosaurs, school...motorbikes?!) and although the rest of us sleep through it, she alarms the poor, easily startled, dog :-/


Edit - The campsite just rang. It's flooded! Ohhh for goodness sake! That's our weekend away scrapped :(
