Tuesday 8 May 2012: Red Star
Red brought out more of my personality.

This thumb-sized show-off couldn't have any more personality. I'm addicted to him, he draws me in like no other bird, I say, okay, that's it for today, and then I find myself outside again, in the rain holding a heavy lens waiting for another show. He makes his own light , 'cause he's a looker, that Mr. Sharpie.
If you look ever so closely you can see me reflected in his eye.
For the Record,
This day came in dark, gloomy and rainy. The show-off is all puffy from the cold. The only bright spots outside are his flaming red gorget and the orioles. But then there is the watery music of the returning House Wren , the most incredible singer to lure me outside as well.
