Tuesday 8 May 2012: Schnittlauch Flowers
Schnittlauch are chives in English. And as you can see ours have galloped away to flower. I think they're very pretty.
Today the weather was quite clammy, a fact I attempted to share with my classmate using my Best Deutsch - "das Wetter ist sehr schwül" is what I wanted to say but apparently it sounded like "das Wetter ist sehr schwul" as J just laughed. To save you google translating, without the umlaut what I said translates as "the weather is very gay". From now on I'm going with "feucht", I can't possibly get into trouble with that.
Yesterday's Song-In-German was "Missing You" and today's is this :-
