Tuesday 8 May 2012: Interesting Phenomenon

Did you know that if you point a camera phone at a rotating propeller that the image sample rate of the camera makes the propeller look visibly slower? Try it, it's cool.

Here's a photo to prove it, with the Harland and Wolff crane in the background as I landed in Belfast this morning.
