THE AMAZING PRICKLES
(Our Prickly Pear Cactus)
Prickles' ample paddles have been creating flowers for a couple of weeks.
He's Staggering the blooming, so that there's always some yellow to provide more than his usual curb appeal.

What a day for wildlife viewing on the golf course.
If I hadn't been in a tournament.....
Roadrunner parading around, showing off the lizard in his mouth.
Herd of deer in perfect lighting.
Pair of cactus wrens with a nest deep between the cholla limbs.
Quail family with a dozen little ones scampering to keep up.
Whew.
