Wednesday 9 May 2012: Phishing Numpty
"Hello I'm calling from PPI the ministry of justice. We think you have been sold excessive insurance by your bank, whichever one you use. We want to send you a cheque with a refund etc etc etc".
It was all going so well, he was well into his schpiel until told he had already made two mistakes. Pause, "Wot mate?"
Make that three mistakes.
They annoy the hell out of me, cost individuals their life savings in some cases, and need eradicating as vermin. BUT it does make me chuckle to string them along, leave the phone by the dishwasher while their bill increases.
