Wednesday 9 May 2012: White Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta)
I'm sitting at home and it is literally tipping down with rain. This shot was taken at about 7 am when small window of sunlight shone down.
I've been trying to find a solid carpet of bluebells but so far have struck out in my immediate area. I did however, spend some time shooting some close ups and amongst a small copse of trees and came across this 'white' bluebell. Initial research suggests that it is just a variation of a normal bluebell (you can also get pink).
