Wednesday 9 May 2012: Squat Beck, Rannerdale
Pretty good weather today in Cumbria, so I took my group to Rannerdale to see the bluebells, which grow in the open valley there. Down the middle of the valley runs Squat beck, and I chose a very low viewpoint for this shot, the tripod was largely in the water, and I was very precariously balanced on a slippery, moss covered rock.
The EXIF data shows a shutter speed of 1/30th, but what it doesn't show is that it's a 10-shot multi-exposure, effectively extending that 1/30th to 10/30ths.
Great day, may add some of the bluebell shots to my Blipfolio.
Have added a few more pics here
