Wednesday 9 May 2012: El Pintor
This is Miguel. I spotted him today on my way back from a long cycle up and down the river valley between Altea and Guadalest. We had a good chat and I asked him if he sold many paintings. He explained that the economic crisis, which is very real in Spain, has had a big effect. People don't have the spare cash to spend on art. Tell me about it! His dog was sitting nearby and I would have liked to include it in the frame but I was too knackered to organise it and a cold beer on the seafront was beckoning me.
