"Our house"

"At the bottom of our street". It's still raining. Our road was apparently added after these houses down here were built and financed by a wealthy man who lived further up the hill desiring easier access to his place. He subsequently complained that the bottom of the road was pitched too steep. "Tough" they said, "there are houses down there we can't move". So glad I live at the bottom - it is mighty steep!
