Primula Auricula

Another wet day and I am cooking dinner for friends and catching up on jobs. These lovely flowers are outside the kitchen window and they always give me a lift - they are so perfect and beautiful.
They come in a variety of colours and patterns and the Victorians loved them and used to make 'theaters' for them, arranging them on shelves and benches. I think there is a nursery near the New Forest where there are 1000 varieties so I must investigate further.
