Thursday 10 May 2012: Like Mother, Like Daughter
The minute I hit the shutter as Anna looked up, I knew this would be my blip.
She's very like me - her head's always in a book, and she doesn't like to be disturbed...
A productive day today, despite a late night. I went to my friend Paula's last night, and five of us sat in her huge, gorgeous, conservatory, rain hammering on the roof as we gossiped, ate home made lemon cake and drank Pimms. We're all going to Wales together next month, with husbands, three dogs and eight kids in tow, so plans were being made...mostly involving fairy lights, Jubilee bunting, face paints and swingball. The blokes can take care of the boring stuff, like tents, airbeds and barbecues ;)
Matthew's just arrived home, with warm carrot cake he made in his DT class, so I'll make a cup of tea to go with it and be back to check out your journals shortly x
