Thursday 10 May 2012: Ship Shape ?????
The Reef Larissa was working in the same area as us today. She is a X Bow Design from the Ulstein Verft Shipyard in Norway. They say it is a lot more efficient at punching through waves.... They also say that part of the inspiration for the design comes from a Submarines Bow. Now call me picky but, The main design feature of a Submarine is not really what I would want in a surface ship.
Also, Ships are referred to as "She's"... Sorry, this is more of an "IT" or is that a tiny bit sexist... sorry
