Thursday 10 May 2012: Venetian Glass
I've been giving away dahlia tubers for the past couple of days; it makes me happy to know that little bits of my garden are making their way around town. My technique with dahlias is benign neglect, but every few years I fork up a clump and replant some around the yard. I wish I could grow potatoes that are as prolific as dahlias! Such a big pile of bulbs from one single source.
But this image is of Lady's Mantle, a lovely origami-inspired plant that does some nice tricks with water droplets.
