Friday 11 May 2012: Floral sunshine

No sun today, tired already of cold grey damp days. we used to get frosts and clear skies later, with sun, but the weather seems to have changed and we got grey days all summer, and now it looks like grey days all winter.

Love this flower, I think it might be a gaillardia, it has shades of orange, red, and gold, and really stood out today in the garden - the last one left, against the yellow of the grape vine's leaves.
