Friday 11 May 2012: The Clifton Suspension Bridge...
...taken from the lookout over the gorge of the River Avon.
Friday Fact: Construction of the bridge began in 1836 but was interrupted n 1843 due to lack of funds. It was not until 1864 5 years after Brunel's death that the bridge was completed.
I had a 7:45am breakfast meeting so was lucky to capture the beautiful light before my meeting...taking the photo only made me 5 minutes late....had to get my priorities right!
Happy Friday all.
