Friday 4 May 2012: Yosemite Views

Hubby and I drove down to Yosemite to meet up with a group of photographers from Google+ for a photowalk. It was a long drive so we started on Wednesday after work, towing our trailer. This was the last trip with our trailer. We sold it and would be turning it in to a dealership that bought it after this trip.

We were amazed that we saw a bob cat and coyote already since arriving at Yosemite. It's such an amazing place!

We met up with the group for dinner and then some of us broke into groups for different hikes and locations for the super moon. Our hike was to a high location overlooking the Yosemite Valley and Bridalveil Falls. It was so stunning with the changing rainbow on the falls and the clouds. Not even sure this photo can describe how gorgeous it was to be there and to see it as the sun was setting and as the moon was coming up. My moon shots were not the greatest so I choose this image as my favorite.

It was really fun all of us hiking back in the moonlight with our head lamps on. I met some great people.
