Artist Ray and Freddie Gilroy

Artist and sculptor Ray Lonsdale with his work 'Freddie Gilroy and the Belsen Stragglers' which has quickly become a popular and iconic landmark on Scarborough's North Bay. It even has its own Facebook page.
Ray, who is based in County Durham, had just moved his work back to it's original position after it was placed in a site which didn't show the full size of the sculpture. It does look much better placed now.
Another grey old day, so a mono blip is called for, which suits this photo anyway.
