Friday 11 May 2012: Today
So as I just said in my catch up blip it was quite late when I got in yesterday in the last hour of work in a very quick text convo with WFish it had been decided we'd head to Chester for the day.
The alarm went off at 6:45 and after letting all the birds out and sorting all the paraphernalia that we need to take on a whole day out we set off just after 8am. Arriving in Chester to find it was race day.......whoops!
Still it meant we got to see some sights lol
Had the bestist day walking round the town in the Roman museum and then down by the waterfront. We ate out had ice cream and everything lol
The highlight of our day though had to be the squirrels in Grosvenor Park I think I may have mentioned before that they are just something we don't have here, and these were such characters they were so inquisitive and obviously used to people and what they have to offer.
We arrived back home apprehensive as always not knowing what we may find but all the animals were happy as larry.
On putting them to bed I decided to check the turkey eggs and found 5 out of the 6 are fertile with just 2.5 weeks to go we could loose another 1 or 2 but things are looking good. I shall look at Biscuits tomorrow.
The other highlight of the day and probably the best bit is that Bertie has discovered the cat flap works two ways :oD Now we're just hoping that he'll show Flo how it works and then she can stop our 5am wake up calls lol
