Friday 11 May 2012: Penicuik Silver Band Concert
The rain didn't seem to stop today, but Manuela and enjoyed a trip to the "beach". We took the number 16 bus from one terminus (Colinton) to the other (Silverknowes) and the walked along the shore to Cramond. There was driving rain all the way, but we had a nice lunch break at the Cramond Inn and the wind was behind us on the way back.
This evening we went to Penicuik to hear the brass band. Hubby is in this blip, playing the euphonium. It was a great concert, especially with the junior band playing.
