Drive-in dreams

The gatehouse at the North York Drive-in has been welcoming movie fans since the 1950s in Sharon, Ontario just north of Newmarket which is north of Toronto. It has three screens and yummy popcorn and french fries. They also have classics like hot dogs and burgers but also modern fare like nachos, pizza, and egg rolls. It also has a nifty collection of playable vintage pinball and video games. Radio sound through your car stereo is much better than the old squawk boxes you used to mount on your window. Good times can still be had. First run films are $11 per person for a double feature. Tonight, Linda and I will watch The Avengers and John Carter. I saw the latter when it first came out in 3-D and quite liked it but Linda has not seen it yet.
