Friday 11 May 2012: Yet another Rhododendron
I think we have more than hundred Rhododendrons in the village. And maybe 50 different varieties. Apparently, the combination of soil and climate is very favourable to them. This is a very rare variety. It was brought here many years ago by a gardener from the botanical garden of the university of Victoria. The owner leaves the Christmas light in the shrub all year around.
