Saturday 12 May 2012: Air Piracy

This was quite a spectacle as the Gannet swooped, swerved & twisted in its attempts to shake off the pursuing Skua. As it turned out this was the best that the skua could do as after this contact the Gannet still had loads of speed and the Skua lost a lot of its momentum resulting the gannet being able to break away and leave the Skua literally spitting feathers.
