Saturday 12 May 2012: First Strawberries
The first organic strawberries of the year have appeared. Called Erdbeeren in German as in earthberries. I think it would be fair to say that strawberries are a favourite fruit in Germany.
Out early today to go to the post office which and finally got a little package sent off. One of you needs to remember the phrase "I wouldn't send you cat food".
Yesterday's Song-In-German was Ebony and Ivory (it sounds MUCH better in German - Ebenholz und Elfenbein), today's song goes like this :-
Sechs Uhr - Fernsehstunde. Lass dich nicht in fremdem Turm fangen. Brandrodung.
