Saturday 12 May 2012: Overgrown

I wanted to blip something, or somebody, other than Anna today. But when we came back from our walk through the fields, this shot jumped out at me - it's got that hazy, summery feeling that makes me happy :)

A busy day. Anna had her swimming lesson. Matt skateparked with mates. The in-laws came for coffee. Paul moved the computer (I'm typing this with the sun shining on me through the conservatory doors - lovely!) while I cooked a roast lamb dinner and had a breakdown over a dead hairdryer.

Men (and I'm referring to my dear husband here) simply do not understand how urgent the purchase of a replacement hairdryer is. You know that wavy-wild-sea-salty-beach-hair look? I can do that any day of the week...and without a hairdryer? Bedhead doesn't come close!!! Emergency trip to Argos - quick!

Right, better go and pay the poor hound some attention - it's been immunisation day at the vets for bad-dog Barney. He's been in BIG trouble with Paul for chewing through the internet cable up to Matt's room too. A tough day to be a little black terrier ;)
