Saturday 12 May 2012: Man of the Year!
Congratulations to Ruari,who received a medal and 2 trophies ...one of which was Man of the Year,at todays end of season rugby awards.
My blip was taken on the slightly long grass at the rugby club,straight after Ruari received his awards.I have to say though,that despite getting a big round of applause when he went up for his awards,he received the biggest cheer of the day when he won "The Boat Race"....the 5 trophy winners were each given a glass of lemonade and on the count of 3 had to see who could down the lemonade the quickest and turn the glass upside down over their head.Yup,Ruari won!
Way to go Ruari....so proud of you (and not just because you drank the lemonade the quickest!)
And other news....we had a very successful overnight visit with K...who managed to stay calm throughout yesterday evening and today...even clapping as Ruari went up for his awards.
