Roots

One of Dawn's mates is up for the weekend so we dragged her out for a wander. Alva glen is fast becoming a favourite family wander though you do have to keep an eye on the weans; there are some desperate drops up there. It is a beautiful place though.

Took the usual bluebell, waterfall, fluffy cloud shots but I'm becoming increasingly drawn to the complicated shapes of roots over rocks. Trying to get a good shot is also a bit on the complicated side as well. Hard to get a few shots when trying to ensure the weans are not plummeting to their deaths. There is a big cracking "cave" like feature that is really begging for a couple of boys with tripods and speedlites and nae weans...

It's Saturday, so it's time for a sunset and a blonde from Arran.
