Saturday 12 May 2012: Rock formation, Upper Tor, Kinder Edges walk

Upper Tor was near the end of the epic circuit of the edge of the Kinder plateau. Win Hill and Lose Hill both in view (in shadow). Just under 17.5 miles starting at Edale. A magnificent if challenging day. Bright sunshine to begin with, then sunny spells for the rest of the day. Dry with good visibility throughout. Lots of photos, pleased with many, but only half a dozen candidates for the blip, and this is the one that came through. Only downside of the day was that my knees started to complain when descending, I do hope this is a one off.....
