Saturday 12 May 2012: How quickly it's gone
The blossom blown from the trees, covering the grass and filling the gutters. A quiet day today after the BigVillage Farewell Party - a good send-off for the group after sixteen or so years. The tenth anniversary short films got another showing, and there was a montage of pictures from the shows over the years, a bit of dancing, food and drink and plenty of chat with some great people. In the evening I went to see the Colinton Orchestra perform a Titanic-themed evening of pieces, including the orchestral debut of my good friend P on the violin. He and they did a good job, one or two little wobbles but a good evening of music, and then some chat in the pub with P and B and some of their friends.
