Sunday 13 May 2012: Baby Coot (Fulica atra)

Firstly, sincere thanks to all my contributors yesterday. You not only sent the signets cygnets to the spotlight page but also made this my most successful blip to date in terms of hearts and stars.

I really appreciate your interest in my journal. Today I'm disproving the view that all baby animals are cute. Only a parent could love this little coot!
