Saturday 12 May 2012: Man

We had a wander around Ameyoko-cho today because I found out that under the railways lines, in the basement, was a load of shops selling imported spices and what not. Managed to get a big old bag of chana dal and another of dried chickpeas for 500 yen each, which is quite the bargain. Next time it will be the ingredients to rustle up a big batch of Thai green curry paste. It's always good to have a big jar of that in the fridge for the times when Japanese food just won't hit the right spot.

We finished the day with a few lazy beers and and an Instagram sesh in the park with Alfie Goodrich (website), who will hopefully get his arse in gear and get on Blipfoto sometime soon ;)
