Wednesday 9 May 2012: Amusing start to a meal
These are the amuse bouches at Castle Terrace Restaurant, Edinburgh.
Castle Terrace continues to be my favourite place to eat in Edinburgh. This week, my bosses' boss was in town, so knowing her to be a foodie, I suggest we eat here.
I'm disappointed with the photos I took, somehow managed to make most of them out of focus.
The food is always inventive, but not for the sake of it. Dominic Jack takes the best ingredients and then combines tastes and textures to provide wonderful dishes. The green one you see above is actually Caesar Salad in a perfect sphere. Delicious.
