Sunday 13 May 2012: The old gas works in Västerås
The old gas works in Västerås was founded in 1927, when coal as raw material. 1963 there was a petrol-based gap gasworks. Especially the time when the gas works was powered by coal pollution caused by raw materials, products and wastes. Ekotec have cleaned up the ground at the old gasworks in Västerås. The work was conducted during June 2009 - February 2010. In the activity, a discovery center focused on science, research and recreation. The rehabilitated land will be used partly as a street, parking, parks and pedestrian and bicycle paths. I went for the first time outside the gasworks today. . Went to bypass to the boats ..
