Thursday 10 May 2012: An Old Friend
I was given a loan of this old book by my landlord shortly after we moved to Sanquhar, it's only 121 years old!
Despite this it is still an amazing reference book and I have used it on many occasions.
Inside the front cover is an inscription written by one of his relatives, dated 1893.
An amazing link with the past...
