Saturday 12 May 2012: Sparklers
Dear Heart,
This picture sums me up today. Can you believe I lugged my camera all the way into town for Millie's fancy dinner and left the battery charging on my desk? Silly, silly Liddy.
It was quite liberating, though, not having to document every moment. The food was divine, the company was first class, and I tried taking wine in small sips. Millie had specifically asked that people wear bright colours, so casting an eye about the room was like being at a carnival. A very sophisticated carnival with wine in ice coolers, yes, but a carnival none the less.
