...and I know one thing

Gas

Sleep went on for a long time this morning and then we went out for a visit with Megan's parents. We had a long and fun chat and then ate a very tasty southern lunch of sweet potatoes, cornpone, collared greens, beans and rice, followed by some super chocolatey pie (thank you very much Erin). After all that, I can't imagine we'll be eating much dinner tonight.

The weather had cooled some when we headed home. On the south side of town, I caught this very typical scene: fire hydrant, gas station, power lines, SUVs and a big sky. Also, it was taken from inside the car.

Today has been a very American-feeling day. At least we listened to the Rolling Stones, which reminded me of dear old Blighty... oh, wait...
