Today I went on a very foggy memorial walk dedicated to my friend's mum who died recently. It was also a fundraiser for the local hospice and was a very lovely experience ending with hot drinks and cake at the British Legion Hall.


We were all armed with a route (you could pick a 3 or 6 mile option, we did the 3!) and facts about our village! I knew that Francis Bacon had lived here but today was the first time I actually got to know which house!

We found this chap on a walk through fieldland. I need to do some backblipping later (determined to have a full october!) but right now am off out to meet friends for dinner!!
