Sunday 13 May 2012: Hotel gardens
I have to admit I was a little bit "tired" on the Sunday morning of Sam's hen-weekend. The only way I could face the drive home was to first jump into the slightly too cold pool. It did the trick and I only took a couple of wrong turns on the way back! I noticed this plant in the gardens of the hotel, and I don't think it's one I've seen before. You can just see the sea in the background - the hotel we stayed in is in a great spot, up the hill, overlooking the sea. We've decided to make a girls' weekend away an annual thing, but as this is only a 2 hour drive from us, I personally think we should make it biannual at least, possibly even quarterly?!
