the colours of summer..

Looking upward through the whorls of a candelabra primula, another favourite.
It was surprisingly nice today, breezy and the odd shower but otherwise bright and productive.

The new fence along the leylandii is progressing well, and I bit the bullet and cut down by half its height the diseased griselinia hedge in the hope that it will grow back more healthily.
I find I quite like the new open-plan look.
