A day in Stirling

Next time you're in Stirling, make sure you go to the castle. Historic Scotland has spent millions refurbishing the Royal Palace and the Grand Hall and they have done an incredible job.
This is the canon just past the main entrance, everything about the place is pretty cool.
I even walked the 267 steps up the Wallace Monument on the other side of town. Nearly killed me but the views from the top were amazing.
