a storm's a-brewin'

beginning of a weekend replete with studies and little else.

actually started working out again this week. felt really good to get back in the swing of making my heart work for its keep.

on a side note, this is the constant reminder of what a devastatingly powerful tornado can and will do in fort worth. these metal posts used to hold a billboard. the post office sits behind it, now proudly displaying its motto: "Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep the postmen from their appointed rounds."

the tornado deranged the billboard right outside the post office, but left the building standing as it is. remarkable. i love driving by this. it's the simple things.
