Monday 14 May 2012: Molly the witch in bloom...

A few weeks ago I blipped the bud of this species, covered in raindrops. Today I bring you the open flower, a frothy confection of golden anthers and voluptuous lemon petals surrounding a raspberry pink stigma, but still covered in raindrops! I suppose the good weather couldn't last!

A morning of administration and proof reading was followed by an afternoon finding potential music for the Diamond Jubilee street party we're holding In June. This turned into a great family occasion, and I suspect the planning will be almost as much fun as the party itself!
