Beinn Sgulaird

Dave & Cathy arrived last night. The original plan was Bidean nam Bian but it had quite a lot of snow, only Dave had winter gear and we fancied something a bit easier anyway, so we drove round to Loch Creran and went up Beinn Sgulaird, a new one for Mrs RT and me. Not that it was easy - my legs were flaking out by the time we got to the top - don't know why, but coming down was a struggle.
Started out in sun then it was showery. It's a good hill with a long ridge with a couple of false summits and a long way to go when you've passed them, but great views in all directions. This shows the summit of Beinn Sgulaird on the left, then Buachaille Etive Mor, the head of Glen Etive with Rannoch Moor beyond, and the really white one is the Blackmount!
