Tuesday 15 May 2012: Rush hour in Midhurst
The Cowdray ruins are the remains of a Tudor house set in Cowdray Park in Midhurst.
It was partially destroyed by fire in 1793. Now a visitor attraction with outdoor theatre, concerts and re-enactments of historical events each year.
I was just coming home when I saw the cows making a dash away from the ruins towards a new load of hay, echoing the commuter and school traffic I'd been stuck in.
