Tuesday 15 May 2012: Marsh Marigold
By this day last year I had blipped four different sets of wild flowers including the marsh marigold seen here.
With the weather as it has been there are not many wild flowers about at the moment and I've only cut the grass once.
Real concerns now about silage for this year and worries about the breeding birds. Also speaking to a crofter who lost 5 lambs as a result of the bad weather on Sunday.
Only hope is that all the wild flowers will appear at the same time this year during June and July.
