Ready and waiting ...

Saints Andrew and Margaret barely visible in the last light of a short day as the sleet batters down outside Holy Trinity Church. The last of the work of decorating the church - and the tall, tall tree - for the Carol Service tomorrow afternoon is completed; the Advent altar frontal is still purple but Christmas is close. A quiet moment among the business of the season.
