Tuesday 15 May 2012: Shiny moth

Set out for a lunchtime walk straight into a heavy shower. It stopped just before I decided to turn back. The walk was then punctuated by heavy showers followed by bright sunshine. We had hail later on in the afternoon - what is going on?

This moth (I think) was gleaming in the bright sun towards the end of my walk. It sat obligingly while I managed to get stung by nettles getting the right shot.
